F3F Slope Race Interest Group

We are a group of dedicated r/c glider pilots flying F3F contests in Hong Kong. Our aim is to promote the sport of F3F flying, organize competitions so as to improve the standard. Although the history of F3F competitive flying in Hong Kong is relatively short, we are able to achieve good standard comparable to F3F flyers in nations with long history of F3F flying. We organize Hong Kong F3F Open bi-annually since 2005. We have sent teams to participate in international contests such as Viking Race, Taiwan F3F Open, Korean Open, Welsh Open and achieved good results. We do have great fun! So please join us and share this wonderful excitement of competitive slope racing!

The F3F class slope race is a FAI sanctioned race based on speed timing for r/c slope gliders. Please see the F3F Rules. The flying task of F3F is to fly 1000 meters on a closed speed course of 100 meters in the shortest possible time.

Hong Kong F3F League

Hong Kong F3F league was started in 2007 for providing opportunities for local pilots to enjoy the sport of F3F flying. A total of 12 F3F races are scheduled in a year. A race will be conducted in the second Sunday of each month. Please see the detailed League Rules and Contest Arrangements.
