2010 Hong Kong F3F League - Match 1
Ma On Shan, January 10, 2010


The first match for the 2010 Hong Kong F3F league was held successfully on Sunday, 10 January 2010 in the east-facing slope of Ma On Shan. The F3F race track was relocated 150m to left side closed to Pyramid hill. The weather forecast is moderate easterly wind, this found out to be true with consistent wind with average wind speed at 7 m/s. A total of 27 pilots joined the contest. This is the largest turn out for the Hong Kong F3F league so far. The race was started at 9:45am and completed with 7 rounds at 5:20pm. This is one of the tense competitions so far, most pilots have very close tight timings. The differences between top timings in a round are indeed very small. C.M. took the lead with 46.26s in first round using his No. 4 Extreme. Stanley flew a 42.86s in the second round which grant him the speedy man title. The dropped a bit after round 2, and most pilots got fifties. Eric flew his Sting and maintain reliable performance thoughout the contest. After a day of intense contest, results were announced. Stanley won the champion, followed by Eric and C.M.  The scores for the top 10 pilots are indeed very closed. Congratulation to all winners!
