The fifth match, actually the second successful match,  for the 2009 Hong Kong F3F league was held on Sunday, 17 May 2009 in Fei Ngo Shan. The weather forecast for the day was not promising at all; weak south to southeasterly wind. The CD finally made a decision to hold the race in Fei Ngo Shan Jat's Incline Peak. The contest was officially started at 10:15am with marginal wind speed between 2 to 4 m/s. The slope in Fei Ngo Shan is amazingly good with strong thermal activities and it is definitely flyable in wind as low as 1 m/s. Although, there were some interrupts when the wind speed occasionally dropped below 3m/s, the contest was in large run smoothly with a total of 8 rounds finally completed. The thermal activity was strong, the scores in a round can have very large differences. The contest was a close match particularly for the top six positions. With only one second different the ranking would be quite different. Finally, Ah Mak won the 2nd runner-up prize. Stanley fought hard to win the 1st runner-up prize. Angus performed consistently well and took the champion. Lee Man won the best speed award by a thin margin with 54.40s. Congratulation!
