Introduction
Typhoon Race is an annual open F3F event held in the Asia-Pacific region. It was found by the F3F enthusiasts of Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and Australia in 2007. The first Typhoon Race was held in Taiwan in 2008 and rotate between Taiwan, Korea and Hong Kong each year. This 3 days event attracted the best F3F competitors of the region. Average number of participant was over 40. The most active participating countries are Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and Singapore.

Typhoon Race Hong Kong is organized by the Hong Kong Radio Control Soaring Society (HKRCSS). The 6th Typhoon race will be held in Hong Kong in October 2013, which is also one of the competitions of the first FAI World Cup Series F3F.
