Fees 1, Competition fee - HKD400 This covers participation to Typhoon Race F3F 2013 and access to the flight line area, souvenirs and insurance of the 3 competition days. 2, Banquet fee - HKD400 (Optional) This covers paricipation to the Banquet in the evening of October 20th, 2013. 3, Transportation fee - HKD400 (Optional) This covers the transportation from Regal Riverside Hotel to the nearest access of the flying slope for October 18th to 20th, 2013. Fees are net amount. All bank charges shall be responsible by the payer. All fees are non-refundable. Fees to be transferred to the following HKRCSS account:
Note: TR2013 is organized entirely by volunteers. There is no profit made from the event. All excess funds from the event, if any, will be donated to the Hong Kong Radio Control Soaring Society (HKRCSS). HKRCSS is registered as a non-profit organization under the Societies Ordinance of Hong Kong SAR Government. Its aim is to promote RC soaring in Hong Kong. Frequencies All radios shall use the legal frequencies listed in the Hong Kong Tables of Frequency Allocations issued by the Office of Communications Authority of the Government of Hong Kong SAR. The following frequencies are allocated for radio controlled model aircraft in Hong Kong. We highly recommend using 2.4GHz for easier frequency control. 35MHz : 35.150, 35.160, 35.170, 35.180, 35.190, 35.200, 35.210 and 35.220 40MHz : 40.665, 40.675, 40.685 and 40.695 72MHz : 72.010, 72.130, 72.170, 72.190, 72.210 and 72.270 2.4GHz spread spectrum. Teams There are adwards for teams. Each team consists of 3 competitors. The country of the members of a team need not be the same. Each competitor can only belong to one team. You do not have to fly as a team, but if you want to, please include the team name in the registration. Registration Due to the availability of time for competition, the number of contestants is limited to 60. Maximum contestants of each country are:
Deadline for registration will be June 30, 2013. Registration will be closed due to over subscription. There is a waiting list. If there are still vacancies after June 30, the vacancies will be openned for all on the waiting list regardless of the country. Registration deadline for waiting list is July 31, 2013. Registration is only confirmed by successful payment of competition fee. The Hong Kong Radio Control Soaring Society reserves the rights to re-allocate quota subject to the actual registration status upon deadline to maximum participating opportunities.
