Slope Racing Interest Group
We are a group of R/C sailplane pilots who like to fly fast! "F3F" is
an FAI (Fédération Aéronautique
Internationale /
The World Air Sports Federation) sanctioned competition. The
competition is about flying 10 legs of 100m, shortest time wins. Rules
are simple but there are big knowledge and skill involved, and that
makes it addictive!
HKRCSS has been holding F3F competitions since 2002. The interest grows
every year and we have over 30 active F3F pilots now. We held Hong Kong
F3F league since 2007. Our pilots also participated in International
F3F competitions with good results. HKRCSS is also one of the hosting
organizations of the Typhoon Race - the annual Asia-Pacific F3F
competition found by Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and Australia F3F
enthusiasts.
