Boat Cruise and Slope Soaring Trip to Pak Lap Wan, Sai Kung

Call for Participation

The Hong Kong Radio Control Soaring Society is organizing a boat cruise and slope soaring trip to Pak Lap Wan in the East Sai Kung Country Park on Sunday, 29 August, 2004. The trip will provide an opportunity for family gatherings of our fellow r/c soarers and also an unique chance to soar over some of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the east Sai Kung Country Park around the beach of Pak LapWan. There is a fantastic east-facing slope in the Pak Lap Wan which is well suitable for slope soaring. Family and children are welcome. The itinerary is shown as follows:

 

Tour Itinerary

8:45am            Participants gather at Sai Kung Peir
9:00am            Boat departs (sharp) for Pak Lap Wan
10:00am          Arrive in Pak Lap Wan and free time for summing (weather permitted)
                       and other water sports on the beach
12:30pm          Lunch on the boat (lunch box provided)
14:00pm          Hike up to nearby slopes for r/c soaring
17:00pm          Descend back to the beach
17:30pm          Boat departs the beach
18:30pm          Arrive in Sai Kung Pier and end of the trip 

Optional          Sea food dinner at Sai Kung town (own expense)

Tour size:    25-40 people

Cost:  

HK$ 180 (members)
HK$ 250 (non-members)
HK$ 120 (children)

Cost includes; boat ride and lunch box.
