The Hong Kong Radio Control Soaring Society
Hong Kong F3F League 2023, Match 11 - November 12, 2023

The 11th match was held in a new NE flying site which is beside the North facing slope of Cheung Ngau Shan. What "beside" actually means is another 15 minutes walk after reaching the North slope. F3F in Hong Kong is never easy.
10 pilots joined the competition. Since the slope is new to most of the competitors, we have a round 0 for everyone to have some practice. This slope has the left side much higher than the right side, making it very challanging because the lift distribution changes with the wind direction. Furthermore, being an inland slope thermal activities is definitely a significant factor. As we can see on the results, the time ranged largerly between 40's to 70's in each round.
The competition completed after 9 rounds of flying. Wind condition varied in both the direction and strength, and there were some interruption when the wind was too bad too. The final results are:

Champion: Stanley Chan
1st runner-up: Ben Lee Chun Man
2nd runner-up: CM Cheng
Fastest time: Stanley Chan (41.55sec)
